I think that people like to see an active board with lots of posts. Message boards are just entertainment for a lot of people. Food fights on the other board attract attention. Did you notice that weekend day when the bashers got their shifts confused and they weren't posting? I don't usually read that board but I went over that day and was surprised how little there was.

Within reason we don't delete off topic posts -- especially on weekends, football, or people saying they are going on vacation or stuff like that is perfectly fine, as long as it doesn't get out of hand, and the focus during trading days mostly stays on CTIX.

Lots of us have developed some online friendships here. Hopefully some of us will eventually meet -- maybe when we go to James DeVries' (Mako's) sentencing hearing to testify against him. hahaha
