Seen in that chart also, the peak was a unnatural that I think was brought solely be the free terminator movie, being listed on so many high traffic sites advertising the "freebie". Now the Google trend seems to be back on the sustained growth pattern seen prior to Black Friday.
The Terminator movie, especially given away for FREE wouldn't have give the trend or Alexa much staying power or even follow through imo. However, if Ultraflix was lucky enough to get Star Wars to PAYING customers and the tech was behaving I'd say Ultraflix would have long-term customers. The goal is to get someone just to pay once, have a good experience, and more than likely they will return. And off to the races we go. The free movie did some, but very little.
