That would be the Liberal Democratic media...
No...good works don't make up for past misdeeds...that is where you are wrong. To apply that to legislation would be a misdeed in itself as your righting might adversely effect another. Sin is sin. Simple as that.
"For it isn't by works alone" You don't get to pick and choose what you answer to...because you think you have made atonement... that isn't your choice or the way it works.
If your make atonement just because it makes you feel better...then you are wrong.
