I commented before that I think the thumb function can have far more constructive impact if they scrapped the email part and created a list of the agrees and disagrees which any poster can see on each post. This would get rid of that second layer of anonymity and force posters to have to be open about their opinion of a post. I think that will stimulate better dialogue on the boards and make them more useful to investors.
