So far nothing else seems late besides the mortgage and the taxes. The business license was renewed "just in time" on Aug 28 (was due Aug 31).

The Canadian side of the operation is on time as well.

I have to agree with you, though. Taxes and mortgages are the last things to be paid late. Delaying these is proof of financial strains.
