i think roger answered your question well enough. it hasn't been reviewed yet by the otc and thus the yield sign. logically, if you submit a report close enough to the close of business, though you may have met the deadline, it may not have been submitted in time to be reviewed by a person. if you have trouble with this concept, its probably not too different when you deposit a check. after 2 pm, the deposit is moved to the next day.
