And I tell you just as emphatically that no Republican in public life will decline credit for job numbers, unemployment numbers and stock market performance if all are better than the Dem administration that preceded and handed off a much worse situation in all three areas.

And, if the numbers had not improved, Obama would be even more roundly blamed by Republicans, if that's possible, for what you claim that neither Obama nor Republicans can much effect.

THAT'S what I mean when I say 'double standards'.

I told one wingnut when gasoline prices were rising that Obama has nothing to do with it and that if they decline sharply he won't be the principle cause of that either.

He still blamed Obama...'thanks Obama!' he triumphantly exclaimed.
