It was not a major part of discussion because it stabilized after the dot com crash and housing market decline. It was fallen like a rock since 2008 though...and will need to at least stabilize.
Civilian labor force participation rate is at 62.7% ... the lowest since 1978. You would want that to be static if it were possible. The amount of workers retiring/leaving should equal the amount entering. Though that is a bit utopian....it is what you would like to see. So when there is a solid uptick in the participation rate....that would signal a reverse and a positive economic sign!
