I would vote for either Clinton or Sanders over anyone currently in the Republican field.
No, I'm not concerned with 'single payer' or an increase in taxes.
I consider those to be 'aspirational'. You know, like flat tax, repealing Obamacare, putting prayer in public schools and associated Republican theocratic positions. Which is to say, not bloody likely.
At some point we're going to need to pay for an Infrastructure Bill that will repair and rebuild roads, bridges, rails and airports.
Those are 'force multipliers' both for job creation and economic growth.
Best to pay for it while interest rates are zero point sh*t.
If a Republican President proposed a Rebuild America Bill that included taxes to pay for it, he'd get it passed. Primarily because he would get Dem votes. The reverse would not be true.
Republican spending, good. Dem spending, bad!
