I'm not sure what 'Kennedy thing' you're seeing, but it's certainly not comparable to commanding a PT boat or facing down N.K. during the Cuban missile crisis.

And I've never seen Obama 'rattled' to the point of reciting the same prepared talking point repeatedly and unresponsively to questioning.

A talking point, by the way, that was as contra-factual and insulting as it was panicky.

He' s not poised under pressure. Not yet anyway.
