We're already 'paying' for Trumps almost single handed dumbing down of the debates, not to mention the grammar school level of back bighting invective and insults that he initiates.

A friend of mine told me that his 10 year old son turned to him after listening to one of Trump's 'word salad' rants: "He doesn't say anything, he doesn't make sense. If I wrote or talked like he does I'd flunk English."

And so would we all have.
