I suggest you check out your required withdrawal amount--I believe your only required to withdrawal an amount that is calculated by dividing your IRA VALUE on 12/31/15 by 27.4 (which is your age factor). In addition if your wife is at least 10 years younger that will also lower your withdrawal amount. You may know all this already but if not, I hope this helps.
