That's what I plan to do. Its exasperating that my IRA that I have had since 1974 will end up with only about 800K worth 2K and my distribution plan demolished. The sad thing is next tax year it will be gone completely without a reversal in pps. Apparently Ameritrade figured the distribution I had to take on total investment of $89K over life expectancy and not on current value of investment. I got to call them. I point this out in case others are in same predicament or may be soon. Anyway I gambled foolishly and must face the music.
