The only type of business that would consider Accts Rec to be a form of revvenue would be a "cash business" (say an attorney) that bills a client for services but does not consider it income until it receives the cash. In this case, the Accts. Rec. would be a memo item to let the reader (like the business's banker) know what the business expects their cash flow to be.

Since NTEK does not indicate on it's financial statements that they are prepared on the "cash basis" it would be assumed that it is on the accrual basis, and that Accts Rec are for sales which were made between 10/1/15 - 12/31/15 but for which their customers had not yet paid by 12/31/15..
