Incredible to see that 19th century kind of system in place. Companies are unable to verify the amount of shares they have, much less investors. Even good-faith operation can generate errors.
Wonder why a centralized system is not in place. Something similar to a checking account. Issue shares with amount in numbers and word numbers, have unique folio IDs, approvals, release dates, conversion price, etc. And most of all, be public for everybody to see.
