I've seen some jerk leaders of the new crowd source financing publicly say at press conferences re miners:
1) we have the money
2) these companies are desperate for investment
3) thus we can dictate ANY terms we want"- and those terms invariably include a takeover of the company along with the lions share of any profits-making it virtually impossible for anybody else to make a profitable investment
cyber tech is not in the same boat as miners but the same grey/black knight problem remains
