Weapons of mass destruction.
To clarify. I was in the IRR at the time and on standby during Desert Storm for a medical unit if needed. I have friends that were on the 2nd wave. One was the NBC NCO for their unit. Their NBC alarms were going off. So there was something in the air and it wasn't just oil. So I would have to say someone isn't being truthful on this matter. Air strikes Might have taken most of it out before the ground troops went in.
Gulf war syndrome a lot of Vets got sick after Desert Storm. Big VA bill if ever proven they were exposed.
