Not necessarily true. Your investment value is strictly based on the PPS, which may or may not be changed with the company's purchase of assets. An increase in the AS, for the purpose of funding the operations, would no doubt initially reduce the PPS. That's what dilution does, as we have seen. But in may be a "necessary evil" to continue to grow and compete with the big boys.
