K Schekin, help me understand then:
using a simple example if we have a 10-1 r/s
If I bought 10 shares from an MM that did not actually have the shares (sold me a "marker" for a share) how will I get that 1 share if my 10 don't really exist? doesn't that mm have to purchase those 10 shares?
