When the US Government eliminates the FED...and goes back on the GOLD standard
as FED is a independent entity within the government and is not funded by congress and or owned or run by the government.
All those IOU's might become payable by the FED ??? Who owes what ??
Maybe the US government paid it's debt and pulled it's gold with 10.6 Trillion??
Would that make the Fed's US dollar worth zip ???
