It's WHERE the respective 35% are. The reason the electoral college maps look the way they have is because most Republican voters are in small electoral college States, or they're 'lost' within blue States.
And if Trump takes 20% as presumably a 3rd party candidate, he ain't getting it from blue State Dems.
