Several points:
Firstly, we all remember how Jefferson's fondness for the Quran led him to famously state that "there is NO wall of separation between church and state."
2nd, No executive order has been issued by Obama because, as the article points out, there is no requirement to be sworn in with any religious text. Hence, a parody.
3rd, no laws have been passed to allow Qurans for swearing to tell the truth in courts of law. On that practice, there is no evidence that swearing on a bible has ended all perjury.
For that matter, how confident would judges, jurors and defendants be if a Muslim witnesses or defendant gave testimony after being sworn in on a book that they don't view as binding in any respect?
Maybe they should be required to be sworn in with the Quran?
Hmmm, now that I think about it devilishly clever of secret Muslim Obama to be sworn in on a bible!
