You are leaving out personal bankruptcies due to overspending and other circumstances. There were 535,047 chapter 7 bankruptcies including personal and businesses....7,241 chapter 11 ...and...301,705 chapter 13 ... ending Dec 31, 2015.
Of those totals....519,213 were NON-Business chapter 7(liquidation) filings...and ...299,515 chapter 13 NON-business filings. Grand total...844,495!!!!!!!!!!!!!
