"It's supposed to reflect somewhere between 1.9B to 2.2B on the OS. But if you look at your ETrade, TDA, Scottrade, or whichever you use, it will probably say 3.83B. That doesn't make sense when these are updated daily after trading activity. "
It depends on where those accounts pull their data from. Most only pull from quarterly filings so they wont update until the next quarter is filed. At that time, it should should show the new/current Os and market cap will then be based on that OS number until next time it is updated.
The site Bill is referring to is manually updated when companies submit the current data
