I have wondered if it was Medtronic (MDT). They are in a very competitive space with pacemakers etc., lots of competition, so have something like this would be a huge advantage. They said something about antibacterial coatings quite a while ago.

So, we'll know when we know. But there are sure PLENTY of companies out there that would be interested in this.

By the way, no one ever said that one company would get an exclusive license.... exclusivity would run the value of the deal WAY up.
