This right wing /left wing is all bullcht'. The only reason we have such a strong presence in the Persian Gulf et al Middle East is because Jimmy Carter signed such. Maybe the reason Persia has such a tight ass with us is because of Eisenhower and his coup support.

I am totally sick of the reluctance to study such. The climate is hostile and grows with the population....hence spending to avoid the worst case scenario. An unfortunate dilemma that is apparently perpetual until what is finite appears.
