If it ever gets out to the masses the stock could get so much interest that they (MMs) can't hold it down. That means a lot of people buying lots of shares.
Audited financials would have stopped this a long time ago.
A large news event could generate the interested needed but that goes back to getting it out to the masses.
Even at 40mm shares traded, it only relates to under $150k. I watched a guy invest 50k in one day (hitting the ask) and he manipulated the price up by 25%. Only problem was that it got walked back down the next two days.
When it starts making a real move, people will come running to make money. Lot's of people who invest in penny stocks don't care about catching the bottom, they are waiting for the obvious run and catch it on it's way up.
