Debited? Good question. I assumed it was because CRGP didn't pay the entire amount to DTCC. They paid for dividends on shares owned as of June 30. DTCC held COR responsible for the difference because COR was "standing in the shoes" of its clients who were owed the dividend on shares that were supposedly issued.
Your claim is that COR cleared shares that were never issued. Here's the one main problem I see with that scenario:
Adam Carter admitted to being responsible for the remaining money by his stated intent to wire the remainder of the 4 million dollars. They stopped the transfer when COR sued, which makes sense. There was an image of the stopped wire transfer posted, although I can't verify its authenticity.
So, why would CRGP attempt to pay the difference if they believed they were not responsible because they didn't issue those shares?
