One of the first lessons I learned in Corporate America was this :
"Promise Late and Deliver Early" ...Really, I did.
As a young man I learned early to bias my time estimate to the far
side, while doing my best to deliver by the near side of the estimate.
Reflecting on my earlier post - - and your response to it, I invented
a new placard for Management's Motivational Wall :
" IT IS BETTER TO NOT SAY YOU WILL DO SOMETHING , and yet do it . . . . . .
. . . . . . than it is to say you will do something AND NOT DO IT" !
