College should never be free and I do appreciate where I am today because of the investment I made in myself. I've eating my share of Roman Noodles in order to keep my student loans to a minimum.
College became an issue in the last two decades simply because it is no longer about education. It's big business in this country, with similarities to what we've recently witnessed within our housing market. This time the commodity is the person seeking to make a better life for themselves.
"The end result, student loan debt is surpassing $1 trillion in national debt, as well as surpassing mortgage and credit card debt. In fact, student loans have basically quadrupled since the late 90s."
