I know some people don't think legalization of MJ has anything to do with the use of hemp, but I have to disagree. Both hemp and marijuana are in the cannabis family, and both have been joined at the hip by the feds in a category that has nothing to do with health or intoxication. They tied the two together for two reasons, big money influence trying to squash pulp/fiber competition, and the realization that it would be far more difficult to police the illegal cultivation/distribution of marijuana as long as there were tens of thousands of acres of hemp being grown as a cash crop by American farmers. I believe that's why we're seeing a cannabis revolution, not just hemp, but hemp and marijuana at the same time.
