@gatemate, This kind of thing has been going through my mind since Trump started his campaign.
For the past eight years people have been accusing Obama of trying to start a dictatorship and only pretending to uphold democracy until he got in office. What happens then? Donald Trump shows up and blatantly makes himself out to be a dictator on the campaign trail, and those same anti-dictator people from Obama's years start backing him.
It would seem that their problem was never about dictators. They just wanted a dictator who wanted the same things they wanted.
