SYN is also an example, perhaps a prime example, of how much short term LUCK is involved in this game.
About 5 weeks ago, many posters on other boards were gloating about their entry price between 2.00 and 2.15. Then January happened and the price plummeted. During the middle of the month, the company released reasonably good news.
Of course the people that were formerly gloating, started posting again. Saying they had bailed on SYN when they saw the writing on the wall and had now re-entered the name.
Presumably they sold the news. Dollars to donuts many of these same people bought back SYN after the sell the news died down and now face this morning's bad news.
