Watching local news last night they said the Vermont legislature is in favor of recreational legalization of marijuana by 2018. One ounce for residents and 1/4 ounce for non residents. They said it would still be illegal to grow, but I believe that's just a measure to prevent every farmer from swapping out his corn fields for marijuana. Very easy to do and nearly impossible to prevent small scale personal use cultivation with units like AeroGrow International, Inc.'s AeroGarden units. They are relatively inexpensive LED grow light/hydroponic units. They're computer assisted, and thanks to the super efficiency of the LED grow lights you can grow several small crops a year.
