I dunno -- it wouldn't surprise me, if they have preliminary indications of efficacy for Bril-OM, to see Leo strike a deal for that one right now. If he could get a deal for JUST that use of it, while maintaining all rights to any further uses of Brilacidin, it would be worth doing.

I don't think he's going to need to have a finance deal with a company like Aspire. I think he can strike a deal for a partnership with a big pharma.
