You are creating a scenario for people for a great disappointment and the way you use the word inexcusable for any delay just worsens the effect. Sitting Bull is right NTEK has delays in implementation but they all eventually happen. Paramount movies happened. Irondragon happened. Platforms for sony, nvidia happened. There are delays but they happen and that's what matters. Bluray 4k was thought to debut in 2015 but is pushed into 2016. You know what's behinds the 4k bluray idea? Billion dollar and very powerful companies but they are still not immune to delays. What do you expect from a pinky company heavily manipulated and ladden with flipper shareholders and with limited resources that it should be given ultimatum for its delays or expected to be immune to delays?
