And it always takes longer than you think it possibly can to get everyone to sign off on the data. It's REALLY REALLY important to have everything done absolutely correctly and beyond reproach. I can't remember now which small cap torpedoed itself by rushing to release raw data with very little analysis that they thought was proof of efficacy. But they did such a cursory job of presenting their data that their stock tanked. They had to then re-do it and show WHY it was proof of efficacy -- but the damage was done. People panicked and sold, and most people who have been burned will never buy into the stock again.
