Information you may not know

There are six directors on the board at Coates.
George J Coates, Chairman, President and CEO of Coates Intnl. Ltd.
Gregory G Coates, Pres. & Sec. of the Coates Technical Division

Frank Adipietro, independent board member
Jack Perkowski, independent board member
Richard Whitworth, independent board member

I found out only today, courtesy of Wikipedia, that "An Independent director (also sometimes known as an outside director) is a director (member) of a board of directors who does not have a material or pecuniary (of, related to, or consisting of money) relationship with company or related persons, except sitting fees."

In other words, independent board members only get paid a "sitting fee" for each board or committee meeting they attend but they can not be paid less than other board members.

Something tells me that Mr. Perkowski is also being paid a large finders fee or consultant fee for any business he drums up.
