I certainly hope so.
A recent example might be Martha Stewart, although I don't know if she stepped back in as a corporate officer, after her stint in Federal Prison.
One of the problems that might be encountered could be any early release provisions that he might have to agree to which could preclude his being an officer or director in a public corporation during the period of early release (and maybe a period of time thereafter).
Another problem, which he might wish to avoid, would be that in many filings with the SEC if any officers or directors have been convicted of felonies within the last 5 years (I think it's 5) it must be stated and explained. I'm not sure if this also has to be included in audited financial statements. He might feel that this would create problems in the market place that he would prefer to see the company avoid.
However, I for one would relish the idea of having David at the helm, even if it meant that NTEK had to lanquish a bit in the stock price a bit longer. He is the dreamer, and with the help of others, the chief implementor. I for one would honored to be at his welcome home party at NTEK.
A final thing that some might remember, it was mentioned at the August SHM was that David had left an outline of what needed to be accomplished during his time away. To the extent possible I am sure it is being followed. Of one thing I am very sure, if the shorters and MMs continue being able to play their games to our detriment, they will change their modus operendi when David is back. He's just to much of a force to bet against, when he (and the rest of the team) get a full head of steam with clear track ahead.
