I know what you mean! The agonizing, frustration, anger, continuous disappointments, etc can be worse than the companie's continuous failure to perform. Like a strong farmer sometimes you need to shoot the poor thing and put it out of it's misery! As far as write offs; regardless of the amount invested I believe it's a max of $3k/year for a max of "10 years" and not necessarily the ability to deduct $3K/year over X as many years equaling the total amount invested. Then again what they don't know........
