I used to think that too, that CTIX would sell off all the compounds.
BUT
I now think that they will instead adopt the "royalty stream" model -- that they'll license them and collect royalties. My reasoning is just that the PolyMedix compounds they bought for a measly 5 million have many more possibilities than "just" Brilacidin. When you look at the anti-inflammatory stuff they're talking about -- like for various intestinal problems -- that's another giant area of research they haven't even started on. And then, what if Prurisol actually DOES work and helps on things like rheumatoid arthritis (auto-immune like psoriasis) too? and of course psoriatic arthritis is a sub-set of rheumatoid.
We know that some of the PYMX stuff was addressing autism, too. It makes me think that there are enough things still in the hopper that they will want to keep going with researching the other compounds. Both of the founders have sons who are in the biotech start-up business.......
