It is exciting and you could be right in the fact that this may be the "presold" order Cavanaugh stated in June. Because the MAXD PDF has been abruptly changed and doesn't reference TMMI today makes me think that the MAXD CEO got his teat in a ringer with Cavanaugh for this untimed announcement.
In looking at MAXD and reading the lawsuits, it looks like the CEO was scurrying to get out some news. It looks like they're in a big beef with Google. ON2Technologies was sold to Google and own the VP9 standards based algorithm. Where I'm a little confused is that they are encoding with TMMI and using VP9 for playback. I thought TMMI had taken care of being able to be played in all arenas. Am I wrong here?
