The expiration of a 2011 output deal with Netflix means the CW Network (TWX +0.8%, CBS +0.2%) may be finding a new streaming home for its shows.
That deal, valued near $1B, made the venture profitable for parents Time Warner and CBS. But CW and Netflix may be at loggerheads over Netflix's global distribution ambitions. Some studios are reluctant to give Netflix too much leverage with global rights, and Warner Bros. is no exception.
