The problem with flipping this stock, IMO, is, first and foremost, it degrades the health of the company. It definitely walks the pps down and makes it less attractive to new investors. Convince enough “longs” to flip, and we may bring it down far enough to kill it for good.
Obviously, flipping can be profitable to an individual investor; even more so to those who short the stock (and possibly hope to drive the company into bankruptcy so they will not have to cover). But, investors can also realize great loss if their flipping is not accurately timed…and who can be sure of that timing unless one has inside information?
