Yes, TPAC's goal is to have JV with AVIC because AVIC supplies directly to Boeing and COMAC.
With JV, TPAC can enjoy the marketing benefits AVIC provides and TPAC can just keep manufacturing in China.
The certification to manufacture in China is a big deal because TPAC is the only company certified while providing duty free cost to aerospace companies.
A win-win. I have no doubts JV is materializing as we speak.
