The last I recall was that he could be released in early 2017, but there might be a chance he could get out this year. Here's a blog post he wrote around Thanksgiving:

"I am thankful to all of those that have written their Congressman urging them to enact prison reform. God willing this will soon pass and I’ll be home for my next Thanksgiving."
