We discussed this some time ago -- Brilacidin can't get past the cornea, BUT, there are a huge number of procedures that involve piecing the cornea (like, for instance, cataract surgery). Someone I know had that surgery and said it was a huge annoyance to have to keep putting antibiotic eye drops in every few hours (especially since you can't really see well to do it yourself). Think how much better it would be to have the surgeon drop a jolt of Brilacidin in there along with the new lens, and then you're done. (assuming it works for that, of course, just throwing it out there as a possibility down the road)
