I read the transcript. As I had surmised earlier, the judge is concerned about appeals -- note that she talked about a Wells Fargo case where "the judge was rebuked."
It appears that things were rather heated, because at the end she asks both attorneys to dial it down. Hmmmm.
Kim kept talking around the question, and the judge would give him what amounted to "yes, or no?"
Evidently it was planned that Kim was going to hand the case off to Stern. The judge said that Jan. 6 was "plenty of time" for them to do their amended motion so I think that she is NOT going to be happy with this request for more time. However now that I've read the transcript, I bet she WILL grant it, because of the Wells Fargo business.
