Ambulance chaser class action suit. Their premise seems to be that they assume that AVXL hired a firm to promote the stock, and therefore anything that management says is a lie intended to mislead shareholders.
There are a number of law firms that file class action suits. They make money when the corporation pays them something to drop the suit, AKA "greenmail." It's usually cheaper for a company to pay off the phony plaintiffs than it is to hire attorneys and fight them. CTIX is striking a blow for all of the small caps by fighting back vigorously (and, in my opinion, doing a great job exposing this sordid industry).
