Re: kurmajones #11
CG is a setup and finance guy. He doesn't like to get his hands dirty (so to speak). From what I heard on the phone and have pieced together from my conversations with Joy (who prefers to let CG explain the octipital structure {a made up word for far reaching tentacles } of the holding company GFTI, it will remain as holding company for percentages of shares of several of these workhorse companies..
I posted some time ago that I thought that Belin was just a way to leverage a better deal with Texas. (It's within the realm of possibilities that CG would do that).
I expect CG to be a man of his word and put out financials and give a comprehensive update on or about January 15th. I also expect that the financials will suck! But the financials are not my concern.
At this point, I see it as a bet, not officially an investment.
An additional thought. Joy may have been working on a deal with Texas and realized that the money involved was above her expertise. In steps CG and it was a perfect fit. CG is the money man and Joy is the engineer, and neither one wants the others job. She had an offer from J&J but couldn't fill the order because of the size of the order.
